JOB DESCRIPTION

Kaufman Development is seeking a Pool Attendant to join its fast-growing team. Our Pool Attendant is a part-time seasonal position estimating 20-30 hours per week at the Gravity Community in Franklinton. They will be creating and delivering on our value of exceptional experience by engaging with our residents while upholding the highest standards of environment for them to enjoy. They will be responsible for maintaining access to resident only facilities and overall cleanliness of the pool, sauna, spa and pool deck.

This is a seasonal position. Availability begins May 2024 and ends September 2024 after Labor Day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent and promote the Core Values of Kaufman Development.
  • Open and close the pool area at the designated times.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Maintain daily reports accurately and complete opening and closing duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service while performing check-in procedures and assisting guests with inquiries.
  • Maintain proper pH and acid levels in accordance with local health standards and complete proper records of readings and chemical usage.
  • Promptly report any accidents, unusual circumstances and maintenance problems to the Area Manager and/or Area Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the pool deck by removing trash, sweeping the pool area, and maintaining bathrooms as needed.
  • Other functions, projects and tasks as designated by the Area Manager
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s License.
  • Flexible work schedule and hours, inclusive of weekends, evening and holidays.
  • Require the ability to stand in heat and sun exposure.
  • Proven service skills.
