JOB DESCRIPTION

Kaufman Development is seeking a Programming Manager to join its fast-growing team. The Programming Manager is responsible for implementing the robust vision of Gravity Programming by effectively strategizing, creating, curating, and executing a full annual calendar of on-brand programs and experiences that educate, inspire, impact, and connect.  This will be achieved through creative strategizing, thoughtful programming curation, effective promotions and branding, and efficient management of the different elements within the Gravity Programming ecosystem.  The Programming Manager will report to the Kaufman Development Marketing Manager.  This role will be charged with maintaining a level of event activity and experience at Gravity, whilst keeping a healthy programming budget in check and positioning it for future growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the head of all Gravity Programming
  • Strategize an annual programming calendar that balances all aspects of Gravity’s ethos and engages Gravity partners
  • Adhere to a monthly budget and create reports on spend/ROI
  • Curate new programming concepts and source vendor relationships
  • Visualize décor, setup, and environment elements to maintain brand standards and experience
  • Vet new programming ideas and external inquiries based on brand pillars and financial viability/value
  • Source skilled moderators, practitioners, speakers, and teachers to feature at Gravity
  • Manage vendor invoicing
  • Work directly with the Marketing Manager to ensure brand pillars and requirements are met
  • Administer all event promotions (email blasts, social media posts, other)
  • Manage programming portion of Gravity website
  • Manage programming lead generation from attendee demographics and share with leasing staff
  • Manage all attendee communication, directions, and requests
  • Monthly event reporting (tickets sold, attendance, experience, feedback)
  • Serve as the Gravity voice in event copyright, digitally and in-person at events when necessary
  • Ensure all experiences are well-executed and well-attended
  • Manage the photographer and videography teams

**Ability to attend site demands on off-hours is required (some nights and weekends).  This is not a 9-5 office role.**
